You clearly know next to nothing about US economic history, or the causes of the 2008 financial crisis. What is of concern is that you actually believe what you have written. I suggest that you read about what happened, and lay off the cheap partisan stuff.

It is completely ignorant to try to suppose that the Democrats are innocent of any errors of judgement in respect of economic policy and that GWB caused the financial crisis. The roots of the financial crisis of 2008 are significantly more intricate than that. Policy-makers of all political colours, over most of the World's democracies made errors in regard to kind of legislation that governed the investment banking model that was common at that time.

Well the sections on climate change, healthcare, civil rights and LGBT rights have already gone from what I can see.

 

Naah, it is easier to just put words in my mouth and then express 'concern' at my 'partisan' ignorance (I almost feel special).

At no point did I mention the Democrats (not being 'partisan' about it). Fact is, the 2008 crisis started in the US, just after a period that the US was already clocking up significant debt with two expensive wars, which the Obama administration has been working hard since to get under control. Don't get me wrong: I'm not saying Bush caused the credit crunch, but his little wars certainly didn't help in dealing with it. Neither do I think that if McCain had won, the current economic situation would be much different.

Yeah, it's complicated and all, but to argue that Obama is to blame for the current mess as Trump's supporters are, is ludicrously simplistic, as Trump's supporters are.

The benefit of having guns and unaffordable healthcare is someone can just pop a bullet in you when you become too sick.
