i have a cheiftec 340W PSU. one of the online stores has 350W enermax for £37 and 431W enermax for £57. is it worth upgrading to one of them?

Jaz - If your present PSU works perfectly then there is no advantage in "upgrading"

Fly - It is 230V only

    PCB on the way.... ;)

Still think my Q-tec is l33ter, it's damn quiet too AND has lowered my cpu temp by about 3 degrees, AND it was only £30.

EDIT: Nice article though macro :D

Ok, Thanks macro, I will have to go look for it since I want to get a new one so I can put this one in my parents computer when I build it for them. :)

I have jsut got the 420w version and can say it is really quiet the mobo plug comes with that black wrap stuff and it also come with 2 fans (80mm both) and one the back it a power switch and a fan adjustment speed switch. There are three different setting 1 is the thermostat run which adjusts to the psu temp (this is very quiet), then there is silencer setting and then there is the middle speed setting. For what its worth I went from a 350w enermax psu that I found was very unreliable and this psu is great and only cost about £40 +p&p!!!
