People move on to new challenges that's all - it's not like the place is emptying Hiren got a job still in our industry I'll let him comment where if he wants.
There's lots of old names I don't see here anymore, that said I'm not such a frequent poster here as I used to be some 10 years ago.
Actually I've already left (last Friday was my last day). I came to a point where it was time for me to move on and do other things. I'm not sure how much you guys know but unlike Rich / Tim etc I was never part of the editorial team, I used to work on the business side of the company and it came to a natural point where it was time to move on. Hey ho on to new challenges
Yeah I always had the notion that you held more of an administrative/management role having never seen your name on any editorial material but still, it's sad to see another member leaving so soon after Rich. It's not necessarily how I view it but it wouldn't be much of a stretch to consider that some people might see these events as comparable to "rats leaving a sinking ship". I'm pretty sure I heard that term used somewhere on the forum recently as well, if not in this thread in another. Anyway, I'm not calling you a rat and I'm definitely not calling bit-tech a sinking ship! I wish you every success in your new job/venture and hope, as always, that you still pop in and keep up to date with how things are going here at bit-tech every now and then
I left a year ago to chase booty in Asia thankyouverymuch! I've been merely freelance since. It's just life changes etc
I think Bindi's departure was used as an excuse to turn him blue. The man was getting dangerously trigger-happy with his privileges I feel bad for still not really knowing who the bit-tech staff are other than Bindi (former) and Joe. I gather that there's an insane, scary one on there, the one who's in a number of alarming animated .gifs. Barry, or Harold, or something.
He sure knows how to ride a giant bean bag like a pro. Honestly, that just scares me. I don't even want to know the story behind it.
