i was thinkin about different ways of cooling then i started thinking, what about dry ice? it seems like it would be perfect.. you could either have it infront of fans blowing into the case.. or have it sit inside the case in critical areas.. has anyone ever tried? or willing to try? welp theres my 2 cents or pents for the UKers
Its not a viable perminant solution and it cools better dissolved in acetone. Its only > -32C too, whereas LN2 is -180ish. Advatnage with CO2 is that you know you're loosing oxygen though, whereas N2 you dont and will die of asphyxiation without knowing. Dunno how much it costs though, for dry ice. Youd have to replace it reguarly too.
