theres a thread in here some place about it.

I did see someone using the ink part of a biro. but you need to cut a 2 slits in the top for it to work i think. its here

Look in the mod guides, but a slim jeweller's screwdriver will gently bend the barbs in so the pins slide out, then bend them back to replace.

I found one at Fry's for like 3 bucks. Works too.

some guy cut slits in a small straw (like a coffee stirrer) and it worked fairly well IIRC.

Go to Radio Shack and buy a 2.5mm mono audio plug. Cut the top off it and remove the guts. Done. I have 2 floating around here somewhere...

And there is a forum post around here somewhere, the search tool is your friend ;)

    Hope this helps,

if you look down into the connector, there are two springy 'legs' on each pin of a molex connector. I've been pretty successfull just pushing these in with a 1mm precision screwdriver, if you push them in enough, they get stuck in the slots which they protrude from. They need to be pushed out again when you reassemble the connector

take a cheapo bic pen apart like in this picture:
then take the ink cartridge and push it over the pin in the molex connector, next simply pull it out the back of the connector since the ink cartridge has pushed in the barbs on the pin. the ink cartridge is much better than a coffee straw since it is very ridgid. always worked great for me.

I've used the ballpoint pen trick many times, though only for removing pins in fan-adapters, can't seem to fit it over the socket pins... alas there the most common.

    N'thed.

Small screwdrivers (just pick up a set from a car boot) are only £1 or so for a pack, and bloody handy :D

I got the combo male/female adapter from jab-tech.com for about $4. It works great on molex drive connectors. I don't think I tried it on the ATX power adapter though.

I had some thin copper shim stock laying around that I cut into thin strips and bent into "L"s. Worked great on the 4 pin molexes and the ATX connector.

if you use a jack 3.5, I think you will have a molex remover for nothing

but I never try this method ( I, will try it this week because I'm modding my acrylic case)
