Good morning. Can anyone recommend any home science kits suitable for ages 10 and up, available from Amazon or an equivalent site. My partner is considering a subscription to MEL science but I consider that to be similar to the magazines that offer you the chance to build a model X-wing with a new piece each issue and the first issue for only 99p (if anyone has any experience of MEL science and I'm wrong in my assumption please correct me). Thanks in advance Mike
Check out Marvin and Milo on the institute of physics - lots of home based physics experiments to do - presented in cartoon form for easy following of instructions. https://spark.iop.org/collections/marvin-and-milo
Chemistry sets, don't bother they all suck unless your youngling is very young. They were killed off by EN71-4
Unfortunately so, being at school in "different times" we had after school chemistry lessons where we did the more volatile experiments, aka we were basically shown how to blow things up. Now you can do somethings you can do at home like these which should prove amusing https://sciencebob.com/category/experiments/
