Other Homefront

What platform will everyone be buying this on? Looks like support will be good on the pc which is swaying me that way but Microsoft keep getting these annoying deals with company's for DLC and its really pissing me off because just have to sit and wait like fallout new vegas why xbox gets exclusives is beyond me!? And i don't really want to get stuck in that position if you know what i mean? Just was wanting to see everyone's thoughts on this title aswell.

PC, it's a FPS.

Xbox 360... i am part of the console generation and strongly believe i could aim just as well as a pc user with my pad. it all comes down to practice.

from the stories i hear about games on the ps3 (online) i don't see why they even bother some times lol.

 

I have a feeling the VAST majority of PC gamers would love to take you up on a game or two

 

Pre-ordered it on steam a couple weeks ago, got Metro 2033 as a bonus too

 

challenge accepted. i'll want to take SpaceBaby on, in BFBC2 or HL2DM or UT3.

no CoD, Halo or games with those aim assist rubbish.

 

Very very underrated game! im working my way through it just now it got kind of side tracked though due to dead space! Too many games lol!

 

Probably get it on the 360 - going to wait for reviews first though.

The difference in speed an precision is rather large. Can't even begin to compare the spray of CoD and Halo to skillful shots in quake or CS.

 

Get it on the PC, **** box only gets it early because microsoft pay for it and then charge more to their mindless drones

Unless ure desperate to get it, wait for reviews to come out first and FPS always PC.

 

Does anyone know what's happening with Homefront being available via steam in the UK? It was there and now it's not.

 

Lol - I have more mindless drone friends who are likely to be playing this on XBL. Oh, and it is out right after my quarterly re-assimilation!

Then again I will see how the reviews/demos go first.

 

i can't help but think this game will be a disappointment. i can already see the reviews saying; "has potential but feels too much like a call of duty clone".

 

Has to be the pc. Sharper graphics and controls. I'm really starting to notice the difference between the platforms now.

I bought dead space 2 on the pc and loved it. Although it doesn't support proper AA. You don't really notice when it's running at 1080. Sharp as hell.

I then had a wee shot of my pals copy on 360 and it just looked awful! Sure the graphics were similar, but the low res textures and jaggy lines were very noticeable. Don't think it even runs at 720.

Anyhoo, really looking forward to this one. Fingers crossed it's good!

 

I will be buying it for PC, whats the point in playing it with a controoller, im so much better with a keyboard
