The 2 biggest inefficiencies in a normal care are a) engine and b) tires. This changed both. Maybe we'll get lucky and the less efficient engines needed here will be made up for by the lack of tires.

on a side note, i don't give a poop about the drawings.. show me a working model. then i'll care.

This dude has no clue how tough it is to design for 300 or 350mph ANYTHING. I was involved in with a group of people who went after a 300 mph Bonneville streamliner land speed record. His frontal COD is less than optimal. I'm not even sure that without wind tunnel modeling it would even remain upright. I realize the ground is harder to model than free flight but look at the angular shape. Probably yaw like a freighter in a hurricane. The lifting body shape is just wrong.

On 2nd look i think were missing something.. Its a hover car. not a flying car. its probably only ment to go a foot or so off the ground. The shape would make a bit more sense then. The angular shape would provide for downward force to counteract the upward force of the hover blades as it moves forward faster. This constant fighting between the two would most likely result in a rather stable vertical hight that does not fluctuate preventing nausea.

But when they look inside and strip away all the electronics and it's pretty much exactly the same. The way engines work hasn't changed for decades.
