    Was bound to happen though, they did the same thing with the ps-one after everyone already had a PSX.

    Yea i saw this a few days ago, heard about it a few weeks back. It's just a marketing ploy to get people interested in the console before it dies out like the PSOne, for games like GT4 (Monkeys already been drawn in :p ) and GTA:SA

    I'm interested in one, I don't have a PS2 and I miss GT, excellent racing game. Also I want GTA:SA before it takes the age to get to PC.

    Yea i went out on payday and bought a new PS2 just for when SA comes out, i also pre-ordered SA, so you know on the 22nd (Oct) i aint leaving my house for sh*t :hehe:

    The release date for GT4 has changed more times than Half Life 2.

    Yeah, kind of defeats the object of having it so thin :/ You still need 6 inches above it to swap games.

    well if you take the psu out of the ps2 and get rid of the empty space saved for the hdd the size seems fairly reasonable. still, i dont see the point. it may look sexy, but people (like me) may well think you're an idiot for buying it if it's more expensive than a normal ps2.

    personally i quite like the look of the psp :)
