Great find, seems tedious, but simple enough to make - now all we need is a radiator manf to jump on it and figure out the design

air has such a low heat capacity that this design could be greatly beneficial to watercooling...

i was thinking of a copper plate with holes drilled in it. then copper pipes would be soldered to the plate. water would flow from opposite corners to get the maximum heat dissipation.

i tried to build one out of copper pipes and some plexi, that failed. what i need is some copper plates.

The article gives reasons why this design isn't the best - and really, is there anything wrong with current radiator designs?

I could imagine integrating a honeycomb radiator with hex mesh in an awesome mod, actually...

i think it would work better as a reservoir and use a conventional radiator aswell :thumb:

It seams to have more surface area. making the pipes longer would double the SA and it would be have a high flow rate.
