I'm not a fan of watercooling, I tend to be clumsy and therefore i don't trust myself.

Anyway, I found a fan today at my local tip. its 240mm.

the fan is galvanised metal and extreemly noisy, but this is because it rotates very fast. I plan on slowing it down and cleaning it up, spraying and removing all the **** attached to it.

When i have some more money (pay day next week) I will be able to buy a cheap case and see If i cant fix this beast into the front..

It will quite literally be the front of the case. Its huge.

I will post photos this weekend when my camera returns from holiday.

The effect i'm hoping for is a slow rotating fan that when lit will make that effect the most films with torture scenes seem to have. (for some reason, Ace ventura: when nature calls comes to mind...)

Will it work at 12V? There are loads of huge arcade fans that require a high voltage to work, so you wouldn't be able to run those off the PSU :).

Is it an AC or a DC fan?
