This is really pissing me off. The house alarm across the street from me has been going off for about 4 hours now and it is now no longer a joke (at 11:45)! Theres gotta be some kind of law against it! Thankfully I sleep at the back of teh house, so I won't hear it, but I had to sit through a film hearing a constant "WEE-NAW-WEE-NAW" during the quiet bits. Has anyone else suffered the weather-induced sirens? Am I the only one that wants to run outside with a gun and shoot the alarm box to smitherines? Answers on a postcard. [/rant] _C
Break in and turn it off. Seriously though, i think there is a law on it, it's either 20mins or 2 hours or something like that. Call the police.
You should have called the cops after 20 mins of it sounding anyways.. or at least I would have (before the 20 mins...) but then again, I have only heard one in close range (in same room, very ****en loud) I opened up the door to the office, and I didn't know the code at that time . luckily boss was just coming in at that moment, and he shut it off
Someone removed ours from the wall and left it on the doorstep. (student house) the guy living here was away and didnt know it was going off :S There is a law iirc, but you should really call the police
Thats odd that its been going off for 4 hours!. it must be constantly being triggered by something. One day we accidentally left my dog in the house and we put the alarm on and went to the shops. The alarm wasn't even triggered once by my dog are you serious?! btw: Double_C, you are one day older than me! (im 3rd april '90)
I thought there was a law against it. Oh, well, it stopped sometime during the night! I kept telling my dad to phone the police, but he didn't. The same alarm goes off every time we get bad weather - lightning, hail, heavy rain, or all three like last night! I get used to it! lol, there's actually someone younger than me on the forums (if only a day younger)
