Ok well i have dual uv cathodes, but there not really lighting up my case too much, i have a 4 led 80mm fan in the middle, and then 2 other 80mm fans with 2 leds in the middle (where the hub? is) how should i go about lighting this

get a blue cold cathode kit, problem is i dunno where to put the switch, id like it in the front, but i need the space on my 5.25 bay (uv switch is there) and i need the rest of the space for my 2x16 lcd. no room on the floppy drive bay since i have my hard drive in there

i could get some elwire (is that bright enough) but thats kinda expensive

    how about this

    Lazer LED

    or this

    Lazer LED Cannon

and get two of this, one in each corner, would that fill my case?

or i can just get a single blue cathode for 2 bucks at xoxide, but then id have to get rid of one of my uv cathodes, and so not as much uv lighting, and id have to remove that adhesive crap, plus its at xoxide, id like to buy from coolerguys, since im ordering alot of other crap from there

    so what should i do?

cathodes are much better for filling a case with light, especially if you mount it vertically.
el-wire doesn't really illuminate its surroundings.

UV cathodes provide more UV lighting than they do case lighting, therefore getting some standard cathodes should do the job fine. Look at some of the project logs to see what effect people managed to create with x number of cathodes.

hmm well those cannons look cool though, would i just need 2 of those (one on top left corner other in bottom right) or would i need 4 to fill up the case?

if i do get blue cathodes, should i mount them in the same place as my uv cathodes are? they wont mess with the uv right?

also can my psu handle this? im using a raidmax 420 w (came with my case) and im running

    2 optical drives
    2 hard drives
    3 80mm led fans
    120mm led fan
    92mm fan
all fans are on my fan controller

    9800 pro
    uv cathodes
    floppy drive

im going to be adding a 2x16 LCD, maybe a 92mm blow hole, a 160gb sata hard drive and i think thats all , can my psu handle another set of cold cathodes?

edit: o snaps, i didnt really wanna get another cold cathode set since i dont have a place to put the switch (in the front) but i just figured my 5.25 bay still has room for another switch and my 2x16 lcd, itll look sweet

    like this

    O[LCD]O

the "O" is a switch, sweet probly get the cathodes

man i shoulda just mounted my switches in the 3.5 bay, but then ill have a hole in my bay cover hehe

Don't take my word as being right but I don't think you should have that much of a problem running that stuff. As for lighting up your case use cold cathodes those work the best. My one case has 4 UV cold cathodes with 3 Blue cold cathodes and 2 white cold cathodes and I have two harddrives and 4 80mm fans plus a CPU fan. Also the 4 80mm have bloth blue and white LEDs on them and I can turn on everything just fine with my 420 watt PSU. Forgot to mention my radeon 9500 pro.....(I know I need to upgrade)
