I was looking for some video card benchmarks and Bit-Tech was the first thing google gave me. Been stuck ever since.
I saw Orac3 a few years ago and I thoguht that was pretty awesome. Then I was looking for a forum to join with some like-minded people and someone recommended Bit-tech, checked it out and remembered that's where Orac3 was.
Project Anemone (I think it was the first thing) Found the acutual article page here! It was on mini-itx.com here LOL, some old team member pics on there Link
I was just leaning on the door, but someone hadn't closed it properly, so i fell inn. (i can't remember)
I'm not entirely sure, but I think ZapWizard's article (on his website) about 'Super Partitioning' brought me here, in a round-about way.
Just looking at that article now Lazlow. Cor, 5GB partition for windows with only 1.7GB used and CD as a backup medium. Back in t'day eh?
I saw a work log posted on computerforum.com I clicked it, then I started checking Bit-Tech every few day, then every day and now I'm a member
I know! It proved to be very successful a few years back, but what with Vista using 25GB+ my old Windows 2000 install looks ancient. Though the core concepts behind his article still work well even today.
I joined coz cthippo said too I've never done a mod in my life - and if a computer problem can't be fixed by rebooting it - I call someone who can help me. I took the case off my computer, cleaned all the dust out, and put it back on again. I felt really tech-savvy
I think some guy told me about it ages ago called Adam on here... I'm also wondering why does everyong have more or less the same avatar picture, who's the person in the pic? rofl
Looks like orac3 drew in a lot of new blood heh ? Good thing. (Sorry for thread titles, didn't realize it could confuse ! there is only one BT to me, and that is Bit-Tech. Made easier because there is obviously no British Telecom in france !)
Orac3. I was looking at case modding, and found the first of the articles via Google. (post 1000, w00t)
