A link to here from BlargOC I think was how I got here, but it was years ago, I have slept since then.
bit-tech found me j/k Surfing reviews for something. I can't remember exactly what it was soo long ago.
I think I discovered bit-tech through boredom. I was looking up something like "sweet computer case mods" on good ol' Google, and it showed up with Blackmesa II by PilouX. That mod still remains to be one of my favourite. In fact, that was the mod that inspired me to want to case mod. (I would start if I could get an old case. Stupid money never being in my wallet when I need it...)
all these nostalgic threads!! i found the site i think it must have been in 2001, after tapping modding into google... became a member shortly after, it had spurred me on to build my own PC and mod it.
I really can't remember how I got here. It was most likely through an affiliate link on some long dead modding site.
A link on modthebox.com. Regisitered but never posted. Then I got sucked into gideontech. A few years later, finally wanted to post something and then couldn't remember my password (the email addy I used was long gone too). Hence the LockmanX instead of just Lockman. modthebox is still around but it seems like they never changed pace.
And the rheobus. I browsed the forums and what not for a little over a year, then joined so I could reply to some thread and to post in the good 'ol "Test Forum" Oh, how I miss the test forum!! Would any mods care to show me some pics of it in the graveyard? puwease.... I'll give head, etc.
Pygo: yech! Go do that somewhere else! I came to BiT because of the Knight Rider LED circuit, I wanted one for my mini startrek viewscreen which I never finished. Must build one again for under my monitor I came to modding in its closing days really, where CCFLs and window mods were all the rage, and 3Ghz was faster than the speed of light. Good old times
Jesus, I just realised you have been here for AGES. Has anyone else realised that quite a few of the old timers are gone, I definately remember members like Zapwizard and his casemods, wonder where he went.
