Try gasoline and a match that works great for me... on a serious note.. you can get LCD cleaning wipes from most big office supply stores (staples and office max for example) radioshack may have them, and maybe even worst buy.. err umm best buy they are somewhat inexpensive and do a decent job. Just dont scrub on the LCD as if you are hercules that could scratch the thin membrane or even crack the glass, never a good thing to happen
i bought some from a local market they were pretty good and they are anti static i dont my laptops screen my tv my pc monitor and my keyboard with them and they come out really well and as for my mouse well it looks new again
This is right from a tech manual, so get ready its a tough job. Ok. Now. Take a deep breath. Go get a towel, or a sock or something. And use luke warm water I'm not kidding, its whats recommended, and its amazingly effective. If you strongly desire to use a solvent, or you spooged on your monitor and water isnt enough, any non-ammonia based cleaner is good. The ammonia is what eats through the plastic. Same rule applies to most pairs of glasses, although most people ignore it.
Windolene - or any glass cleaner like that, does a terrific job. Been using it on laptops for as long as I can remember. No it does no damage, and yes I've also use it on my pair og LG Flatron 1710b's
