I would like to set up a computer to run automatic updates in Windows, even if they are not an administrator.

I did this at home by using an nLite CD to install Windows XP Pro, and this was one of the options in the nLite configuration tool. How can I set this up with a fresh XP Pro install?

One more question, if I later attach this computer to the Domain and use Group Policies to go through our WSUS server for updates, will the computer stop running automatic updates from Microsoft?
(I don't want the computer to pull from the internet what it could pull from the WSUS server, but I also don't want to rely on the WSUS server just yet since this is for a computer image and will not be part of the domain until later.)

    Thanks!

Doh! I'm a goof and just realized this is included in the local machine's group policy editor.
Because it is a group policy, I would assume that Domain implemented group polices would override local group policies.

    Is this correct?

Yes local policies are applied first so all other group policy will take precedence.
