How Do I Find Out What Kind Of Processor I Have?

    I have a AMD Athlon XP 2200+. Could anybody tell me how I find out what kind it is, as far as it being a T-Bred or whatever. Thanks for any help.

    take youir heatsink off + look at the code printed on your processor.
    OR... download WCPUID which should shed a bit of light...:rock:

    the 2200+ was the first AthlonXP to use the thoroughbred core. Palamino cored xp2200+ to my knowledge do not exist so it will be a thoroughbred and i think a revision A. all the xp's using the thouroughbred core after the 2200+ use the improved revision B core which keeps cooler and overclocks better.
