Electronics how do you change power leds?

    i have a blue led on this computer and i want to chnge it to red i have the led right here in front of me. now how do i change them? Soldering is not an option for me cause i dont have a soldering iron and this has to be done right now.

    Usually there's a fairly good length of wire attached to the LED with a push-on connector at the end. If you want to avoid soldering entirely, you may have to scrounge the entire LED plus wire plus connector assembly from another case.

    Otherwise you solder the new LED into the wire where the old one is.

    You may be doing the first blue-to-red LED mod ever...

    lol yeah my friend wants it done not me. he wants red. Well I gave up with the non solder route and soldered for the first time in my life and didnt do that bad of a job.
