Serial A.T.A. for me - one of my friends made me laugh, he always says stuff in a weird way - he says "Serial Arta"
Say-Ta or serial A.T.A and as for mobile phones 'round 'ere they're known as Moby (pronounced Moe-Bee)
Me! LOL!!! I pronouce it sah-tah for SATA and ah-tah for ATA. Honestly, I have heard anyone pronounce it differently here in NC or while I was in FL.
I call it "those new fangled things" No actually I call it "Serial ATA" or just "serial drive" Serial Drive is what I use most the time. This is a really silly thread that doesnt really have any importance. Alot of people have very little to do these days. I got one, how do you pronounce Intel. Oh yeah I know, you pronounce it like this "crap" or "S**t" and "Is that all it can do"
Say Tah Say Tay Say Ta Sah Tah Sah Tay Sah Ta They all sound like your trying to order a chinese or something. Even my wife who is chinese says Serial A.T.A as those above sound silly. Say it properly Serial A.T.A if nothing else.
what a post... jajajajajjaa and i answer if the a8v have mounting holes and you people say me bumper... we who speak spanish dont have a problem to say sata.. so its veeery simple to say ... sata just like sound...
ure american rite? i think most enlglish people... including my self say bi-os..... not bi-ose...... but as with SATA i say S.A.T.A or Serial ATA... problem with SATA is that Saa-Tuh just sounds silly compared to raid, ram, wifi etc.... its "hard" to say sata as a word. Snood Edit: i ant remember who... but someone said u dont day "atta" for ata..... this is true...... some things we say as a word (the ones which can faasibly soind "nice" as a word.... ata isnt one of these.... neither is sata.... however EEPROM or RAM do sound good..... and as for someone saying about the pronunciation of acronyms...... check outw my tread in general discussions about the spelling of the acronym "laser" (said as a word) beng changed by americans to "lazer"
I'm saying, S-ATA but i think the logo is wrong... it says "serial sata" (or how ever you want to read the s wrapped between the ata)
