I got a medium-ish size Bodum caffetierre, pwns at uni for those erm... early-ish mornings. Must be served in the biggest mug u can find, very important! And a nice drop of milk. I like my coffee with jus a bit of milk, non of that sugar and plenty of strength whenever i grab a coffee from starbucks etc... i tend to drink something like latte + extra shot of espresso or sometimes jus single/double espresso alone, but remember no sugar ever!! Tea has it's time, but most usually post coffee, but i like the Yorkshire tea thinking Tea leaves > Tea bags tho, if u get hold of one of the tea equivalents of a caffetierre then they own, great tea from them mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm caffeine don't forget the milk tho, jus a drop in tea, black tea is the most evil thing ever!
Bialetti Moka Espresso Pot, I have a triple shot once a week, and that keeps me buzzing. Triple espresso, boiling water, dab of milk and a little sugar, and BAM, one wake up drink. Then it's instant coffee every other day, coffee, milk, 2 x sugar.
Im too lazy to make proper coffee, 2 tea spoons of nescafe gold blend. (only meant to be 1). No milk, no sugar \/ airplane \/ classic film.
Black, like my men. Usually Columbian or Whittards' Coffee of the Month, though we had some great Jamaican Blue Mountain stuff sent over by a friend recently In a huuuuuge cafetiere, made very strong.
Gevalia Kenya. I make it in a 12 cup Krups drip pot. I put in 4 scoops (prolly about 2 tbsp per scoop) for 12 cups. I drink it from an aluminum travel cup. I carry a matching aluminum thermos. Both together hold the entire pot. That lasts until I get to work and have to start drinking the sawdust CRAP! they make here. But hey..it's free and full of caffeine. I drink it black. Just coffee. I like my coffee like I like my women...strong and bitter.
I like my coffee served sweet. I ain't into that dang city-slicker coffee; I like that good ol' American coffee -- made in Columbia. Grump
I only drink the coffee at my work. If you really want me to, I'll write down the name of the stuff saturday. But it mixes with hot water in our special handy-dandy spout/mixer--thing... and is really good. I only drink it black though.
I take my coffee with milk, two sugars, no coffee, and plenty of Tea. Two sugars cos I use the mug on the left which holds a pint (568ml/cc). I should however use the mug on the right cos that's who I'm working for at the mo...
Instant Coffee is poo! Either Kenco or Tesco's ground coffee... made in a cafetiere... no filtred crap here.. just h4rdc0r3 coffee!!
I like it black, strong and very very lon-... er... sweet.... coffee that is... That modded coffee maker is probably just a joke but probably wouldn't be too hard to make. (Hey, anyone else remember Doc Brown's automatic one from Back to the Future?) All you need is a mains-capable relay controlling the power going into the machine, and possibly a thermal probe on the jug thingumy... it could all fit on an rs-232 or, if u don't like external components, a parallel...
I assure you it's not a joke It uses the COM port, i can switch the coffee machine on and off, detect the presence of coffee in the jug and detect the rough temperature of the coffee. A "remote" program can also be run which connects to the software accross the internet, you could be in australia if you wanted, alows you to view the status of the machine (ON/OFF), liquid state and teperature and also alows you to switch it on or off. In addition to this the main software also has a timer function, I have it set to make me a jug of coffee 15 mins before i get up (7:30) on mon/tue/wed/thur/friday and switch off automatically as i leave the house (about 8:10). first 3 hours of wakeduppyness: 2 or 3 big arsed thermal mugs of good coffee, 2 1/4 scoops (2.25 oz.) to 48 oz h20 ... 1 scoop sugar and qbout 3 oz milk (2%) per 20 oz mug. sugar scoops get smaller as the day goes on. usually have another cup for my drive to school, or i stop and get a quad capp w/ caramel syrup (the liquid caramel, not the gooey butter caramel) - but only from borders cause starbucks has he WORST coffee in the whole entire universe. roast does NOT mean burn. if i feel ill, i have a hot green tea (twinnings gunpowder) or a citrus-y herbal from celestial seasonings. (orange mango zinger if i can get it) only coffee i will buy is maxwell house french roast or columbian, or Kroger's french roast (which we suspect is rebadged maxwell house. Grandma sends me some gevalia every once in a while - the tarrazu is quite nice. ed: most of the q's are spozed to be a's ... stupid tiny laptop keys
Hehehe that sounds cool. All you need now is a solenoid valve controlling a water feed from the water main and some sort of automatic powder emptying/filling system....
Usually instant (Rapor or Nescafe), 2 sugars and plenty (if not all) milk. Although I just bought a philips coffee machine - stick a mild/medium roast coffee bag (looks sorta like a round tetley teabag) in the top, fill resevour in the back with water, stick cup with a little milk and suger under spout and press button = 1 frothy cup of coffee.
Black with no sugar, any type will do they all taste the same to me. I used to switch between with milk and two sugars or black coffee no sugar but then found out I can't have sugar anymore so its black for me. But being an Englishman I'm normally a tea drinker, damn my old boss didn't have blood in his veins it was tea instead.
Can't beat a nice blueberry cappachino, unfortunetely I have to drink cack instant for most of the day, take it with milk and 1/2 a sugar (thats half no 1 or 2).
