i've been tinkering with my cellphone and laptop trying to configure it so i can connect to the internet.

i've paired my laptop with my cellphone, i've right clicked the phone icon and selected "connect bluetooth modem", and now it's asking for dialup information. i use comcast cable internet, what do i put in?

it has nothing to do you comcast internet.

You can use it to connect in one of two ways. (someone correct me if i'm wrong)

    1) use it as a phone connection for dial up internet.
    2) use it + a data service added to the phone plan to connect.

but anyway, the phone has nothing to do with Comcast, if want wireless use wifi it's much faser anyway.

or if that don't work since i did have to login.
Also there are all kinds of free dialup numbers out there google for it. however just note that even if it is FREE you will still be using minutes on your phone possably even long distance minutes

My phone can use GPRS or 3G to connect, much faster than dialup but costs more too...
