This comment section is making my head hurt.
wow, you guys discussed a lot while i had a morphine fuelled nap. I'm glad streamable is an adjective, and yes, the 'rare', particularly golden or garish weapons/skins i feel could be described using the (definitely now a legitimate and in common use) noun 'streamabling'.
I concur with what gareth's said, both in terms of what i think battle-royale (the game concept) consists of, and also regrettably that the damn kids these days probably think hunger games is the inspiration rather than the older Japanese movie because it's more relevant to them; I have no lawn for them to get off though so i'll settle for shaking my fist at passing clouds.
But it's cool, those kids will one day become adults, realise the things they grew up on were re-hashes of earlier things, and come to appreciate them in time just as i have, and accept that if we can keep 'remaking', 'rebooting', or 'reimagining' shakespeare, then cinema, games and TV are all fair game for the same.
Also when i read the given example 'mute point' i shuddered... You shouldn't of done that.
Now i feel filthy.
