Modding How hard is it to wire up alaptop screen?

    This would be for a briefcase mod?

    The screen is just the screen with wirng, no case or instructions!

    How hard is it to :search:? There is an LCD faq which has stuff about laptop screens.

    Depends on the LCD model. If you can source a compatible controller card, you won't have much trouble, but it might cost you--$150-400 is a rough estimate.

    And the controllers also cost as much or more than an LCD monitor which will probably be of better quality than any LCD screen you get your hands on.
    The cheapest option is to buy a refurbed or used LCD monitor.
