I reckon they would get to you by Saturday. I've ordered much bigger stuff online that has been delivered inside the same time.

Play takes AGES to deliver these days.

I've given up using them TBH, and I just use Amazon instead - although they're usually not that fast either, they are a little faster in my experience. Don't bother paying for faster delivery, its not in my experience usually a guarantee of getting it any faster!

I Find that play aren,t the best for delivery. Most Of my pre ordered games get delivered on a saturday (in the uk). The day after release. They are OK if you are looking at price rather than timely delivery.

I've ordered twice from them... never again....

First time it took 2 weeks after release for something I pre-ordered....

Second time it took 10 days after release for another pre-order.

They will never get business from me again.

Play used to be fast delivery, not anymore. For games use shopto.net as they a very fast with delivery and its free what play used to be like.

Amazon is good if you want to pay for faster delivery service.

I'll throw another 2 cents in here....

The ZiiP Gamestore (founded, owned and run by Jester of ZiiP) supplies the game Steam/Origin/other download key upon request prior to the game being shipped to you.

Eg. Space Marine is out on friday - keys go out to customers on thursday, game is shipped for friday morning.

Link in my signature for those who may be interested.

Just another alternative in a massive field of business. :)

Yeah play do take a good while to deliver. Its say 5 working days is a minimum.
If you need a speedy dispatch id vote shop.to

Neary pooped my pants ordered streetfighter for a bargain price of 16 quid at 3.30 in the afternoon, arrived 9am next day WOW.

I usually find I get my orderes in 3 or 4 days.

The only time I've really been disappointed with Play was when I Pre-ordered a Bleach Ichigo statue to go on my shelf (pre-order price £11) about a month after it came out (I'd pre-ordered a few months in advance and then forgot the release date) I got an e-mail saying they could no longer get stock and had cancelled my pre-order, despite the fact that the staute was still on the website (showing as being in stock and priced at £15), and was delivered in 3 days after I re-ordered it (so much for honouring the cheapest price).

I don't ever buy games from Play. Usually use Game so I can build up reward points. They have never let me down and the post is always fast.

I do. I very rarely buy digital versions. Always the physical media for me. I order online though, pretty rare I buy a game from a bricks and mortar shop.

Due to stupid usage allowances, I prefer to get a hard copy of a game to save myself the bandwidth...

This is true. I only use Play now for impulse purchases of bargain music / video that's not time-critical.

Yes. You can always trade a physical game in for something else. You can't do that with electronic versions!

To reiterate what everyone else is saying: Play are absolutely crap at sending stuff out. I've waited for over a week for some stuff. You can't even query what's happened to your shipped items until after a fortnight...:grr:

Considering that 99% of the time you can pre-order a physical copy and activate it on steam CHEAPER than buying it direct from steam, why would you not?

Steam / other digital distribution services I find are high priced unless some kind of sale is on

Considering the poor state of Broadband in the UK not alot of people have a fast connection, those only on asdl its better to get a physical copy as its easier to instal/reinstall at a later date.
