As long as I have a dremel and a set of files I have a virtually infinite number of drive bays, but generally i use 2 for my cd-rw's.
M00000vies Well, actually.. cartoons - 60 gigs, movies - 70 gigs, TV shows - 40 gigs, etc.. (yes, I collect cartoons ) luvbug
wow. 9 drives.. i only have 3 in use.. one by a floppy thats only there to look good- doesn't connect to mobo <---- w00t!! 1001
Atm, all three of the three available in my Sonata. Housing a DVD, CDRW, and my Live! Drive. CDRW's b0rked, and DVD drive is dead old, so hoping to replace them both with a black Sony DVDRW at some point. Then spray the Live! Drive.
Right now, 3, in the future, 6 or maybe even more. CD-RW, CD-Rom (hopefully dvd later), exhaust vent to keep the RW cool(go positive pressure), Panel with lights and switches, panel with fan controller, and maybe even an audigy drive later or a Matrix Orbital.
5 or 6, with a combination like this, i think yea - DVD Rewriter / Drive - CD Rewriter (or DVD combi) - 2 bays for an MO or VFD - A baybus or 2, or mebbe even a reservoir but ihmo they don't look too good unless in transparent cases
Really depends on what's being put inside it. I have everything from 1 to 7 in my full tower. The majority of mine though have four 5-1/4" externally accessable bays.
