Awesome, this is why I love smaller manufacturers like Fractal (I hope they're not offended by my saying that :p)

I contacted Corsair to ask where they source there case grommets from as I am modding my case. They sent me a box containing more than enough for my needs FOC and I am not even a customer.

But I will be when I next need some components.

Corsair sent me two configurable 6+2 PEG cables for the HX520W, despite it being more than 3 years old by now. Free of charge, of course. :)

A friend of mine once got a free top of the range keyboard and mouse set from microsoft. He did an online warranty claim and MS asked for proof of purchase. He said he lost the receipt but sent a pic of the mouse and keyboard serial number, that he took at PC World!!

I actually just sent off an e-mail to NZXT (Literally, just a minute ago) about getting some replacement LEDs for my side fan, as well as some more rubber feet for the power supply, because they broke kinda quickly. Admittedly I have gone through 3 PSUs on this case.

Anyway, we shall see how quickly/how good NZXT are.

Nice. How good are those fractal design cases? They look quite nice from the pictures I've seen.

    Did something similar with Logitech.

My Driving Force Pro wheel broke, so I got a brand new GT wheel, because the Pro had been discontinued. So my mate came to me asking for a new wheel, so we decided to try the process again, we used the same serial numbers and part numbers from the broken Pro wheel, same backstory, and he got a brand new GT for free as well! Logitech are probably the best company I've dealt with in terms of aftersales support.

Aye. This isn't a discussion about how easily a company can be taken for a ride. . .

I see this quite a lot in the performance flashlights industry (yes, there is a whole industry).

I hve often emailled companies like Nitecore, Fenix, Dereelight and Surefire asking where I might be able to buy a replacement bezel, oring, seal or screw for my flashlight, and they have responded asking for my address so they can send me some spare parts FoC. The last time it happened was when I asked Nitecore where I might be able to purchase a replacement head seal and pocket clip screws for my NEX (Nitecore extreme) which is my most used flashlight. They asked for my address and a week later I had a packet of 10 new head seals and 20 clip screws and washers. The head only takes one seal at a time and the clip is held on the body by two screws, so I have a lifetime supply of them now!

Things like this are what seperate companies like Fractal and others from the crowd, and show they they care about their customers.
