Might sound like a stupid Question, But I am curious as to what clubs around peoples areas were charging for entrance last night? Some of my friends were paying £50 to get into places and it is just dam shocking. Luckily I went to the Watershed for £10 with a free glass of Champagne! Anyway, how much did you guys end up paying?
bout in my local pub, which turned out to have afree hog roast ). but in town clubs were free to 10:30 and then £20 after Phil
Whole thing only cost me £15, and that includes a meal I suppose everyone who let us into their flats didn't consider charging for entry
Most places around here are free, my mate paid £8 for entrance to normal pub (they were putting on some sort of fancy dress do). Normally start charging after 10pm/10.30 then some drink prices go up after 11pm - damn shockingif you ask me. Regards GiGo
Stop complaining, thats why i stay in my area insted of going to Central London as if i go there i would start off in a Bar then head to a club, get a chinese meal @7 in the morning then either get a cab or the first train home.....£200 minium spend easilly. even @ my local last nite i think i spend £40/60-ish, but its close to home and had just as much fun without goin into central.
Bottle of Jagermeister - £12 8 Cans of Red Bull - £10 Bottle of Blue Curacao - £12 Spending the night in alone as your mates are at a club that sold out its tickets before you could get them - Priceless. There are some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's the Bit-Tech Forums
20€ all you can eat and drink I was on a party that has been organised by some people from school, ~120 people lots of alcohol and pretty girls
I spent £22.20 which is pretty good I think. Most of that is the train to and from London. Stayed at a friend's flat so that was free and alcomohol was purchased at an off licence so that was pretty cheap. Our original plan was to spend about £60 to go down to cornwall just to do exactly the same thing. Glad we had some sense not to do that
I paid $18 for a bag of fireworks and whatever 1/4 tank of gas would cost to drive out of the Houston city limits. Went to a friend's house and blew stuff up for an hour. All in all a good New Year's Eve. -monkey
$0 Me and my G/f at my place, and neither of us drink. Could be worse though. We had a call for mutual aid for the fire department up the road about 1700. Guy fell over a 100' waterfall, managed to swim out of the river, and was now stuck on the wrong bank in below freezing weather. No odea how that one turned out.
£3 first bar entry £20 on booze £7 club entry £10 on booze £5.50 on pizza £4 on cab home Total: £49.50 Not bad, last years was nearer 100 quid but that was extra special new years
All the clubs around me were charging around £25 - £50. However, i spent £5 on an 8 pack of stella pint cans. What a deal.
£0. Stayed home and watched a couple movies before Jools Holland's Hootenanny. Any alcohol I drank my mum had paid for.
whatever petrol it cost me to drive to my cousin's house. we chilled there, then walked up to hampstead heath to watch the london skyline light up. was cool.
about £30 on fuel driving to my mates static, then £20 on drinks/food.. you cant get have as much of a laugh going to a club as you can staying in imo.
