    I was giving people lifts to parties and he's a lighting designer. Not a bad guess though.

    £5.85 - 8 pack of beer
    £0.25 - Small red rizla

    So that makes just over £6, not too bad, although if I was out of baccy it would have been slightly more. Going to a mate's, kicking up some chairs, whacking on some music, and opening some cans beats going out at new year everytime. Cheaper, no sweaty odour, decent music, and the fact you know everyone there. Oh and the fact you can get stupidly drunk and not spend more than £50

    $0 here. Just went over to a friend's place with a few others, and no drinking (and in any case, we're all underage, but I don't drink regardless).

    I love being cheap.

    About a tenner on booze, drinking at my city centre flat.
    £8 on Club Entry (God bless SU-owned Clubs not overcharging)
    £12ish on drinks
    £2 on Cheesy Chips :D

    Is that... chips with cheese on them? Sounds like constipation in a plastic foam wrapping to me :O
    Yeah, they have those in the kebab vans around oxford. (Hassans!)

    This new year was quite boring, I'll have to make up for it by going to london next time, I watched the fireworks on TV and they looked uber.
