I shop online for anything other than food/drink almost exclusively- there are just no useful shops in Dartmouth anymore, its all ****ing art galleries, interior design / boutiques, overpriced designer clothes shops or other arty-farty shops. Totally geared for tourists and then 'they' wander why the place is a ghost town out of summer season- losing woolworths pretty much killed the town for the locals, pathetic as that may sound.

Nearest place to get anything like furniture, electrical goods or normal clothing etc is a good 15-20 miles away, further if you head for the nearest cities ( plymouth / exeter ), and since I dont drive Im screwed really. Good old ebay...

I'll check every couple of days, but I'll only get something if either a) I really want it or b) it's something I'm after (but could wait a bit before I get it) and it's is on offer for a good price (steam sales usually get me)

    Pretty much this.

I buy almost everything except groceries online. Shops in town cater for tourists which means if I want to buy something more substantial than a bucket and spade, its a 50mi trip to Truro on the bike. Even then, you're not guaranteed to find what you're looking for.

Y'know, I should really buy shares in Amazon.

We buy 98% of our goods online. Small things we buy from the local shop, or when i finish work, but otherwise, the rest is delivered. Not having a car does cause some issues, but Asda deliver our food, and i buy stuff from Amazon, Play etc, so it's all good.

I buy everything online, including clothes, apart from food/drink/hygiene.

Buy most of luxury items (games, electronics, etc) online.

I hate going shops, because im lazy, takes too much time, and unless there are sales on they are generally more expensive and have less range, also when there are sales on they're packed and crowded shops where you cant move otherwise you got your foot in someones ass annoys me.

I have exactly the opposite problem. I have a tradition of supporting Mom and Pop brick and mortar stores and since my relocation there is only one and he just ends up getting my stuff on-line for me.

I could get some great deals on John Deere tractor parts here locally. :D
