Notebooks how much is this sony laptop worth

Im not selling this laptop on here so i thought it wouldn't be right to start a price check in the marketplace.

I have a sony vaio vpcs13l8e laptop that i want to sell to a mate of a mate.

I said £300 which i thought was a good price, but he seams to think it's a bit pricey.

Now the laptop is in perfect condition but has no warranty

I have also upgraded it to 8gb ram and a 750gb HDD

So what do you think would be a good price point for this laptop?

It seems to be around £550 new so £300 with the upgrades sounds about right to me!

13 inch business laptops are always going to carry a premium, I wouldnt consider 300 that pricey but maybe he's just expecting more of a 'mates discount'.
