That chip will not work in that board - is that not going to be a problem?

Q6600 go is worth about £45 on this forum
    P35 about £20
    6gb ram £20

But i might be a bit off :)

I didn't even notice that, that's what he said he had and I didn't even look into it that far. I'll edit it to what it really is.

Also, would I get more for parting each piece out or selling it as a whole unit?

tend to get more selling units as individual items, otherwise its common place to add the bits up and knock a bit off for a "bundle" deal

board - about £80 i would have thought. or £90, thats about how much i would pay they are quite old and were £150 new.

cpu - these are still about £450 new, but i wouldnt pay more than about £200 for one due to other better chips being about.

    Ram - is a more desirable 4gb sticks, £45 - 50?

That is what I would be willing to pay for it all, you could stick a price check thread up in the market place and then all the marketplace guru's will force prices down your throat :) hehe.

The guy is in Wisconsin... why are you quoting UK prices, everything is cheaper over there.

    IMHO.

because dunx my man, I am in england, and I have no idea of prices over there, but through buying and selling frequently in the market place here (which represents prices LESS that any other place in the UK) I have a general understanding of the price for THIS forum irrespective of where I am or where Beast is.

Plus I didnt see anyone else saying anything...

    Nice constructive post though :)

EDIT: Plus - he originally had incompatible parts listed as to what he was going to buy, so if you see my first, I was also pointing that out to him. You know, helpful stuff :) And also, if you continue to read, I also pointed him in the way of the marketplace where he would be able to get a better idea, there is even an american board there...

So care to point out any of your post that is of any value to anyone?
