i would think it would be ok...just as long the two molnex's aint conneted to anything else...but use it for a while and see how it pulls..if needed get a more heavy psu.

i would try both ways...and see how it pulls the psu.try playing a game for an hour or two in both setups and see how it goes.

Wouldn't daisychain the connectors tbh, run them off 2 seperate spurs if you can... or at least 2 seperate connectors on the same spur...

i think thats what i meant highland3r, but i didnt know the name of the things lol.
i was thinking about one of the leads coming off my psu, and just using 2 molex connectors from it in each socket on the card? or do i have to do it the other way instead? with 1 molex from 2 different cables?

    about 75w max.

Shouldn't matter either way as everything is on the same rail, and im sure that the wires will easily handle 75w (75/12v = 6.25Amp, the individual wires are rated for about 20Amps...). That said, some of that power comes from the motherboard, so your pulling even less from the cables.

put a molex in each hole on the card. from anywhere it does't matter but you need both of them

    im getting confused now.
each of the set of molex on the cable is called a spur? so my antec has got 2 spurs right?
so i run the ultra off one spur?

I prefer to call them lines...
You have several lines running from the PSU box.
Its best to have one molex from each single line plugged into the card. Its a lot more stable. Get it? :)

People say that, but you know what? All the yellow lines end in one huge blob of solder at the end on the PCB. And all the black in another. And so on. I highly doubt it makes the slightest difference. I know that's manufacturer recommended, but it's not as if each set of wires has it's own voltage line (well I suppose the PCP&C 850w might, as it has four 12v rails I think), and electrons weren't too picky about which set of wires they take to your GPU, last I knew. The (min.) 18ga wire used is rated for FAR more than the entire card will pull in, let alone the card minus the up to 46w it draws from the AGP slot.

It'll be a bit over 75w total though, as the PCIE versions require extra power and that's what one of those slots can give.
