Modding How much spray paint do you need for a case

    Title says it all, wanna respray the interior of my CM 690, I'm ignoring clear coat and primer, just how much do I need to cover it with a decent layer

    A can of paint normally covers a couple of square meters, so it depends on how much you need to paint, but count on around 5 layers to get a good finish, and some resistance against wear and tear. I would buy 2 cans, maybe a third if you want to be on the safe side.

    Just remember, THIN LAYERS! I have ruined the same case a couple of times because I sprayed too much paint on, and it began to run.. And then its back to the sander. Which is, after 3 times, BOLLOCKS. :p

    Make sure to read the instruction on the can if you're doing multiple layers, every manufacture has different dry/recoat times

    1. Make sure you use a automotive grade paint like those ones from Duplicolor or House of Kolor.

    2. A 11oz can is usually enough for most work.
