Graphics How much will I gain from SLI???

    After reading this article I thought about maybe getting a 2nd Pny Geforce 8800 GTS 320, but does I can't tell if I will gain a little or a lot. I have looked at some sites that say it doubles and others that say only a slight increase, so whats the verdict here?

    i would say wait on the SLi unless you are noticing performance issues. Overall SLi only has about a 40% increase in performance. (at least from what i have read)

    From experience with the 7-series SLi (not the same, for the record), it was about a 40% gain in the best situations, and about 25-30% in some games. In-all I'd say it was definately worth it, if only for 2 graphics cards! :p

    Depends really, if you are running on a 30" screen, the gains will be more than 100%. The stress is removed with two cards. Overall about 35% is average.
