I'm about 5ft 4 inches now. Was more like 5'4 1/2" before I lost all the knee cartilage. Oh well ;P

I'm 5'10 (which seems pretty normal and otherwise unremarkable) but my younger brother is 6'3! Not fair! :(

About 5'6" here. Right around where perpetual sadness tends to hang around in the air.

But I have no idea how high I am in metric, nor can I visualise anyone's height in metric.

The British…damnit, you need to learn the metric system. I know, it’s a French invention but for gods sake lads, seriously now.;)

Most of us do know the metric system, well, unless you still remember shillings... In which case you're probably flummoxed by a dvd player so using a forum seems pretty unlikely...

Anyhoo, sitting at just about 6'1" here. Not too shabby I reckon.

I used to be like that but all you ahve to do is learn equivalents, it's not too difficult once you start.

My input was done with a warm hart, humour and with the blink of an eye. It was not meant as an offence, I’m fully aware of "most" British being familiar with the metric system. Easy now….

What on earth are you talking about…shillings? woot:p

    Cheers.

Don't worry about it Walle, I didn't take offence in the least. I'm just reminded of when I was in the post office and I overheard an old fellow moaning about 'new' money. Talk about living in the past, it's been over three and a half decades...

I'm slightly surprised with how many people are 6 foot or over, all the short people I know must all be circus freak descendants

Did you even bother to read the thread Fophillips? A significant number of people gave their height in metric.
