in the highlighted area it states:
"Bottled under the authorisation of the Coca-Cola company by Tropical Bottling co. of Aruba, Aruba"

For those who dont know where Aruba is:
So how the hell did my bottle of coke travel 4,441 miles (approx) from Aruba to Dublin, Ireland? and more importantly WHY? Especially as theres a coke factory only a couple miles away (also a caburys, also a kellogs.... god theres alot of factories in dublin)

    BTW:
I almost got sick when I drank it... I gagged and nearly threw-up. Not to mention that it was flat AND one day out of date (best before 29-04-2003)

Yeah most corner shops have Coke from other countries as it's cheaper than the UK sources sometimes.

but arent there export restrictions preventing such things? they do the same with software, you cant buy american Microsoft software in europe as it would take jobs from those making it in europe (which I might add is 90% Irish run :D)

Either way 4,441 miles is a long way to go for a bottle of coke!

Yes, there are. Which is why you can find cans of Coke with Arabic writing on in your local corner shop, but not down the supermarket ;)

Did you find it by the seaside?
Did it have a note in the can from a marooned sailor?
That prolly explains the flatness and the out of dateness.

On the other hand, as already mentioned you could have brought it from a dodgy 'corner' shop. :worried:

I had vinilla coke for the first time today, the immediate taste is pleasent but the after taste isn't, it's like when you put a lump of ice cream in a bowl of coke, I never liked that

/me goes back to regular coke

Did you have it in a can or a bottle? I can drink the stuff from a can, but the plastic bottles make me gag. <shrug>
