Would removing the screen from a Tecra A3 be the same as a Tecra A2?

 

if its just a tobisha te2000 ( i think) i that the same as the terca? or they differnet (the fan doesn't start up some times, and i have to hold it verticle, or it wont work and freezes, cpu heatsink problem you think?)

 

I see you have a guide for doing the keyboard on the Toshiba Satellite A55, any chance of a full dissasembly guide?

 

I'm getting ready to swap the processor in my Tecra 8100 with a faster one. Want me to do a writeup for you? It's almost a complete lower disassembly, IIRC.

Hi Timmee, that would be nice if you can do it. I haven't seen Tecra 8100 for a long time now, but many people ask for a guide for this unit.

I need the location of the HDD, seriosuly now, I can't find it on my laptop, which is just stupid. It must be well hidden.

Dells are by far the easiest to take apart, took me 15 min to clean mine today. Most of it is having the right tools, precision screwdriver, torx bits, ect.

Hi, the HD in this toshiba model is above the dvd-rom drive, so to access it you have to remove the screw that fix the dvd rom, extract it and remove the metallic plate above it, so your hd is shown.

To disassemle this notebook I used the guide for the P30 is almost similar.

I also need to clean the heatsink, but please be so kind to inform me if changing the heat conductor grease is a very important thing.
