Hi How long should Scan take to arrange an RMA? I put through a return request over the weekend and have yet to hear from them. I've put through a second now, but I'm just wondering if they're slow.... or would I better phoning? Thanks
Over the weekend means non working days, so I would suspect they are getting through the rma requests and you should hear a response today or tomorrow
They take there time, usually ignoring it half the time and then when you phone them they typically just call you an idiot and that when they install the products it never fails....I tried asking for a replacement on a cooler of mine as the thread was broken on arival and I got called an idiot and that it was my fault...Pretty much took it to the maker (corsair) and they sent replacement screws that were long enough to get past the broken thread. I don't like Scan as much as I used to...Maybe it was just that guy I talked to but I believe if you don't order the scan bs insurance then they just treat you like a mug.
Hmm, that odd. I have had a lot of contact with them recently and they were exceptionally polite. Scansure does not suspend you consumer rights, and if you feel there are acting in such a way you should simply quote them. OP I would just give them a ring and explane whats happened. You will proably get a RMA number there and then.
I bought a GPU two weeks ago which broke after a day so sent it back but to get RMA I had to give them a call as they didn't reply to two of my emails..... So they are very slow to pick these emails.
