How To Make A Watercooling System...
    (2 Methods Of Making It)
(1st Method Is More Expensive, 2nd Method Is Cheap... Really Cheap)

-Note: This is a test project my friend has been doing and it has worked, but i am re-amping and re-doing it.

    Recorded Temps: Updated!!!!!
    -P4 2.8GHz
    Idle: 30-36°C
    Load: 39-40°C
    Stock: 46°C
    -P4 3.0GHz
    Idle: 34-36°C
    Load: 41°C
    Stock: 48°C

Recorded Temps: w/ FROZEN DISTILLED ICE
    Water Temp: 19°C
    -P4 2.8GHz
    Idle: 25-30°C
    Load: 22-26°C

    Price Ranges:
    1st Method=40$
    2nd Method=20$

Required Equipment '1st Method': (w/ link comming soon)
    - Waterpump of your chose, the better/faster the waterpump is the better. I have used the 'Ehiem 1048 Pump' or 'PowerHead 402'. It is identical to waterpumps including in some kits.

    - Tubes that are compatible with the waterpump, unless u want to do some conversion but this is a high risk with leakage. The one I have used is the one from Frozencpu.com 'Clear Tubing'
    Link> http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/ex-mis-01.html
    - Waterblocks...the ones you make or the ones you buy. it doesnt really matter just make sure they fit.
    Link> http://www.zfz.com/projects.asp?request=tojjacpu
    - Fittings

    - Tightener'z or Clamp
    Link> http://www.boltproducts.com/images/tinnerman/tubeclamp.jpg
    - Distilled Water is the best to use. It does not leave any mineral build up and doesnt have to be changed in awhile.
    - Switches are the water pump control
    - Screws
    - Container or Reservoirs used to be used to store water, cool it off, and etc..
    - Radiator or the one you made(link to guide will be uploaded)

Required Equipment '2nd Method': (w/ link comming soon)
    - Normal Pump (Fishtank, Pond, Etc)
    - 2+ Clear Tubes
    - Clear Container or Shoebox
    - Plastic Bag or Clear Container
    - Rubber Material/Plate
    - 6 120mm Fans or 4 80mm Fans
    - Copper Fins/Heatsink (Old CPU Heatsink, ETC)
    - 3+ Copper Fins/Heatsink 'Matching If wanted, or paint it'(Anysize)
    - 1 Switch
    - Bought Waterblock or made one
    - 4 Fittings for your radiator or buy one.

    WILL BE UPDATED....

I want to see this. :) I might just have to attempt a ghetto (I'm assuming this is going to be ghetto?) water cooling system, watercolling is just a bit expensive.

yeah, watercooling is not hard after you get the plan, but testing is also very fun. Make sure you get all those leaks out :)

I don't have a watercooling system right now, but i did one for a school project (yeah..hehe) and i tested it for 2 days before i put it in the system. I dont want my stuff to be fried, :)

GL with the guide, sounds like a good idea.

let me guess, slappin a giant ice cube inside a ziploc bag in the res? ingenious... might not be very practical.... but still a neat idea, if I'm guesstimating right.

can't wait to see this, i've wanted to try WC for some time now but haven't found to many good resources of exactly how to go about it, so this would be a serious kick in the right direction

i really anticipating it because ive always wanted to throw a water cooling system togather, like in a ~1ghz machine just for kicks. and from the sound of things the 2nd method may cover a budget method using many parts i just have laying around home - just what i wanted :)

hurry up and come back from vacation!!!!!! :p
    naw j/k enjoy yourself man

I might be able to write up an article for you guys, i think i still have most of the pictures from when i did my watercooling project.

I did my setup for around 220 Cnd (90ish GBP) and in my opinion, its better performance wise than any kit you could buy.
