Get the URL - easily done by right clicking the picture, properties, highlight the Address (URL) starting with http:.... u may need to scroll along, copy (Ctrl + C).

In the forums to link to a piccy, use the hyperlink function ( above the box u type in, it has a piccy of the earth with a chain under it, enter the text u want, and enter the URL which u copied earlier (Ctrl + V).

To put a piccy onto a forum directly, use the function next to the earth and chain - yellow box with some sort of mountain.

Does this help? Not hard :thumb:

PS. If ur using a piccy from ur computer, u have to upload it, go to a website such as photobucket - good enough for several photos with small bandwidth.

    use the tag like such:

    [IMG]www.mywebsite.com/mypicture.jpg

....obviously replacing the middle bits with the url to where your pic is hosted...

You will need to upload the picture onto an internet server, you cannot upload it from the desktop. Go to www.photobucket.com and sign up, upload your pictures, they will tell u how, then when u see your images in photobucket, click on it to make it bigger and get the URL of it and do the rest as i explained earlier

And keep the pic sizes less than 50Kb, its ok for most people if the pics are larger, but not for people on 56K modems

PS use JPEG or GIF not BMP on the images, BMP is usually over a MB!

U learn the features of a computer the more u use it. I've never had a lesson in anything to do with computing, and I know lots. The internet helps
