Other How To Stop Youtube Videos Freezing ??

    Why does Youtube videos freeze when being played in full screen? and how do you stop this? anyone experience this?

    Check the red progress bar.. is it loaded beyond the current playing position?

    Yes, even when it is fully loaded and you begin to watch the video in full screen it will freeze at some point, then you only hear the audio still being played.

    Graphics card problem?

    Are you on an old laptop or something?, any other apps / programs running aswell?

    Could be a graphics card problem, but is there a standard that youtube should run at? i.e what graphics card is required for it to display and run videos properly.

    No other application is being run.

    What's your spec? OS?

    Updated Flash to the latest version?

    Are you watching standard, HQ or HD videos?

    Well my pc spec is:

    Intel Pentium D 820 Processor 2.8Ghz, 800mhz FSB, 2MB Cache

    1GB Ram

    160GB HDD

    Nvidia GeForce 7300SE, 512MB

    OS: Windows XP with service pack 3 and all the latest updates including adobe flash player 10.

    I watch everything in youtube in HD or HQ and it freezes when videos are being played. Doesn't happen all the time, sometimes it just won't stop.

    Sometimes a laptop is used at the sametime, but the laptop is not used to download at the same time when viewing youtuve videos on the pc.
