Linux how to tv-out radeon mobility on debian

    need some place to start and i have no clue. I'm lost in google resutls, it could be helpful if you point me to any guides.

    Not entirely sure, ATI are pretty poor with linux support. You might have to get the proprietary drivers from the site and compile the module.

    I got the drivers that debian installed , aren't they the proprietary?

    Don't have any experience with ATI (I tend to stay clear of it as much as I can), but enabling the TV out is just another screen in your X config.

    The drivers with debian are open source, i think they are reverse engineered. They tend not to be as full featured as the drivers from ATI.
