Graphics how to use a ati 8500 through my tv?

How can I use my computer through a tv is it possible to do it using my ati Radeon 8500 le by hercules? What cable will I need?
Also is it possible to record from the tv with it?

 

its not possible to record the tv cause its only tv out - so you can use your tv as a moniter effectively but you cant watch tv on your pc.

u need an s-video cable and then an s-video to composite adapter then a composite cable to your pc, or unless your pc has an s-video in port. Or you could then use a SCART adapter and do s-video to scart to tv. I use svideo to composite to scart to tv cause it gives the best picture.

Ill post piccies later of the connectors, but im suprised u didnt get cables with your rad unless it was bought just the card only.
