Hey guys. Just joined the forum and so far it's very nice. Looks to be alot nicer than some of the other forums I'm on. Moderator eddie dane told me about this place. The specs in my sig are for the new rig I should have done near the end of August. Hope to learn alot from this place. :dude:
Welcome. You're going to find a cross-cultural array of electronics wizards, dremel warlocks and spray-paint shamen here. You're guaranteed to learn something new every few minutes (or your money back!) and the trolls are kept to the bare minimum. A fun place to waste the hours while you pretend to work at least And on the subject of hot places: Satan owns real estate in Texas, he lives here for the winter and travels back to Hell each summer for the cooler temperatures later, S.
I hate to break it to you essjaytee... satan goes to Texas to get away from our heat/humidity. I used to live in San Antonio and this place beats it hands down... the only people I would say in Texas that can really complain about heat are people in Houston/Galveston... that's terrible. The only place hotter than where we are, that I have been to is Memphis, Tenn.
All I know is the many days I've spent on roofs here in san antonio are thankfully (not-so-)fond memories now.
heh, 'twas a joke Actually, when I first moved over here I lived in Deep East Texas (moved from Yorkshire to East texas... *phew*) And it was pretty much miserable. 90+ % humidity and 90 degree days... It's better up here in North Texas... It's a "dry" heat. S.
Yeah I hear ya about the 'dry heat'. It's the kind where you walk outside just fall over from dehydration. Can't even feel it comin. Memphis is definitely more humid than here though. 80 deg outside and 9,000,000% humidity. It's like being in BFE in hell. Thanks for the welcome guys. And I will definitely be moddin the case as I get more into it. I got many friends that have a dremel.
