    Hey :baby: ,
I'm going to buy a new computer and I chose this graphic card:
    Gainward Geforce 6600GT 256MB Ultra1980 PCI-Express
Can anyone tell me if it is a good graphic card? Is Gainward a good company?

And if you have a site that reviews this card and compares it with other manufacturers, I'll be thankful!

By the way, it costs 1233 Shekels (282$).

    Thanks,
    Loui.

Gainward is well known for making graphics card's that overclock very well. If that's what your looking to do you can't go far wrong.

    Gainward > j0000!!!!

    seriosuly though, gainward is immense
my last 3 gaming cards (minus a brief stint with a 9800XT) were gainward and a loved them to bits, overclocked like monsters and are an attractive shade of cherry red ;)

Yea, should do. Check around for reviews of 6600GTs to see typically what theyll do.

    OK

I did see one review... I'm searching for more, but there aren't a lot comparing manufacturers! The most are comparing between both companies (ATI vs NVidia).

If you find any site that reviews this issue, please tell me!

If I recall correctly there are no 256MB 6600GTs. It's either a 128MB 6600GT or a 256MB 6600. Correct me if I'm wrong but it sounds funny to me :blah:

Hmmm if that's the case, I should have waited a month in getting my 6600GT :p

I've got the agp version and it's great, not tried o/c'ing much yet (gotta try and get the rest of the system stable first) but it plays HL2 at 1280 very happily at pretty much full details.
oh, and it's got video in which is nice.
