    I just ordered a HP 407 camera, but then I saw somthing about the battery, and I am not to sure what kind of battery I should be using. Thanx for your help. :D

    That's the size, and 2 AA dry cells will probably come with the camera, but for practical purposes get 4 AA NiMH rechargeable cells and a charger. 2 in the camera, 2 ready-charged to swap in. :thumb:

    HP and Kodak sometimes have specific requirements about batteries for their cameras.
    They'll tell you not to use Alkaline AA's and to opt for either NiMH or Lithium. I personally use the Energizer Lithium's myself (for practically everything) and they last VERY long although they are not rechargeable so if that's what you want then NiMH is your best bet.
    I think what Kodak and HP have said about it's requirementsfor these batteries has to do with Alkalines lossing power near the end of their life cycle and it might cause problem when trying to store photos to the memory card while the flash is going off (I might be wrong on this).
