Hi all. Got a HP mini 110-3138UT netbook. Has got stock a hynix 1gb 1Rx8 PC2-6400S-666-12 Have tryed a Adata 2gb ddr2 667 this one http://global.adata-group.com/en/product_show.php?ProductNo=AD2800S The adat stick gaive me bsod and failed memory tests. Has anyone got a hp mini that they have installed 2gb ram in to.
Sorted it. The Adata 2gb stick was a DOA so got a new stick and works perfect. So both the acer aspireone netbook and HP mini netbook can run off the same ADATA stick. And both can be installed with XP PRO SP3.
saw this late... Andrew_Moore (or whatever his username variant on here) upgraded Compaq Mini 702EA (a variant of HP Mini 1000) to 2GB when i bought it off him. very nice of him shouldn't be any problem with 2GB RAM, well as long as it isn't DOA.
