    Hi everybody,

    who here has an HP N40L microserver?

    the reason im asking is i have one and i have to ask a question about it but its best to know if someone has it, then i can go into detail about the problem im having as you have to own one currently to be able to answer my problem.

    please reply if anyone has one

    I thought you couldn't / shouldnt mix ecc and non ecc ram?

    hi, deathtaker27, the only reason why i have mixed them is because i get to keep a 2gb chip and i only needed to buy a 4gb chip, if i remove the 2gb chip im only left with 4gb thats why, im only trying to save abit of money.

    but the thing is there has been no problems, no bsods and no freezing so it seems to be okay and the machine is resgistering the full 6GB so it should be okay.

    hi wuyunxu, how did you know it was me that posted on aria?

    i have never seen you on aria do you have a forum account with aria?

    anyway thanks for the advice, but if you can understand my problem i need someone to time the machine so its important they also have the same machine so that i know its accurate.
    and i dont really want generic times that people get with "their" machines it has to the microserver.
