Does anyone know of a good place with data on HTPC cases? I'm trying to figure out the components I want, and the case is probably going to be the big ticket item. I have not settled on a form factor, but I would like it to be roughly the size of my AV receiver which is ~17"(432mm) wide by ~6.5"(165mm) high by ~13"(330mm) deep. Beyond that, I want it to look like an AV receiver, but that's easy enough to find from the pictures. actually getting the dimensions of the case can be a little more difficult.

The problem with HTPC cases is that, if you find one thats the right width, its bound to be too deep, and if you find one thats the perfect depth its more than likely to be too wide.

Check out silverstones range, they have detailed specs for all their cases including dimensions.

Antec Fusion Max (which I have) looks the part but is 500 deep ( if you include the plugs for mains, video etc).

For dimensions Anandtech have a group test of Antec's HTPC cases.

I have the same case, nice and easy to work in, plently of space, but your right it is a bit of beast size-wise. It makes the PS3 & 360 look tiny.
